Yesterday marked five years since my last chemo treatment.
It’s a milestone that brings with it a mix of emotions—gratitude, reflection, and deep appreciation for how far I’ve come.
Going through cancer treatment is life-altering in every sense, but experiencing it during the height of the COVID lockdowns added a layer of isolation and challenge I never could’ve imagined. Many of the healing modalities and supports I might have turned to simply weren’t available.
That experience led me to reflexology—not as something I accessed during treatment, but as something I felt called to offer afterward. I wanted to be a part of the kind of support I didn’t have access to. I knew I wanted a path that was more meaningful, more connected—not only for myself, but for others navigating their own healing, stress, or personal transformation.
Since then, this journey has expanded into sound therapy as well, adding another layer of connection and support to the work I do.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have the love and encouragement of family and friends throughout all of this. Their support has guided me through the uncertainty, given me the courage to start fresh, and reminded me why I chose this path in the first place.
Today, I feel deeply grateful to be where I am—supporting clients in ways that truly matter. Whether it’s through reflexology, sound therapy, or simply creating a space to rest and breathe, I’m honoured to be a part of your journey.
This isn’t just the five-year mark of a cancer milestone—it’s a reminder of the resilience that brought me here, and the purpose that continues to lead me forward.
Thank you for being a part of it.
